Thomas Jefferson on Population Control

In the State of Union Address on December 8, 1801, Thomas Jefferson stated

The bravery exhibited by our citizens on that element will, I trust, be a testimony to the world that it is not the want of that virtue which makes us seek their peace, but a conscientious desire to direct the energies of our nation to the multiplication of the human race, and not to its destruction.

This is in direct contrast to what the majority of the leaders of the nations of the world desire.  They desire, as the Georgia Guide Stones say, to maintain the population of the world under 500,000.

Population control violates our privacy and right to life.  It necessitates murder of the innocent to serve an elite few.  It is contrary to Christianity.

Genesis 1:28

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Isaiah 45:18

For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
